the view...not necessarily everyone's

so i caught a little bit of the view this morning...and i must say i do enjoy the show now that whoopi g. is on. she cracks me up without even trying hard. i like the idea of the view...different women discussing "hot topics" and sharing their unique opinions. however, after thinking about the various co-hosts that the show has had over the years, i realized i can't recall the show ever having a latina co-host. yeah, sure they've had african-american hosts and even lisa ling (i think that was her name) covering the asian-american view, which is great, but i'm curious as to why the show has yet to have a permanent latina co-host. what is holding back barbara walters and the show's producers from including this type of co-host. i think doing so would add a very unique and rich element to the show, especially because latinas are so marketable now. i guess we'll just have to see what happens because based on the show's track record...they will be looking for another co-host sometime in the future.
